Summum Fuji

Discover Summum Fuji, a daunting challenge in Japan!

The goals of Summum Fuji, Japan's extreme triathlon

Will you take up the challenge?

Every challenge begins with preparation. The summit demands total endurance: body, mind, and will must move forward together. Train yourself to push your limits, find your rhythm, and transform every effort into positive energy.

It's you against yourself

Your mind is your best ally. Learn to manage doubt, fatigue, and fear. Thanks to the mental preparation techniques developed by Cyril Blanchard, you will discover the power of concentration and the power of letting go.

Surpassing oneself

The Summum is not just a race, it is an inner adventure. Climbing Mont Blanc means pushing beyond your own limits, learning to trust yourself, and feeling the pride of reaching your full potential.

See you at the finish line?

The Summum Challenge opens the door to an extraordinary human adventure. Between lake, road, and summit, you will experience an extreme triathlon in the heart of France's most beautiful landscapes. A rare experience, at the crossroads of sport, nature, and emotion.

Step 1 – Open water swimming: facing Mount Fuji

The swimming portion begins at Hirano Beachhttps://maps.app.goo.gl/nPKuvrNhfvU3ZM8MA

The starting point faces Mount Fuji. When you look at it, you see/face the finish line, and vice versa. Once you reach the top, you see/face the lake and the starting point. I thought it was a pretty good idea for a start.

The arrival point is to be confirmed, but it will be located on this shore. There is a large parking lot and a beach suitable for transitioning.https://maps.app.goo.gl/abETvbG61Bp6hJcB8

Stage 2 – 112 miles of cycling: Crossing the Alps

The cycling section goes around Mount Fuji in a counterclockwise direction. There are a few traffic lights, but overall it's very smooth going.

The route follows the access roads to three of the five stations, arriving at the top of the loop and turning back.

Step 3 – Race to Mount Fuji at 3,776 m

The race begins with a crossing of the temple, just like the pilgrims of old, and then it's off for a 20km continuous climb.
