SUMMUM Challengers

2026

Clement Boulain

Clément Boulain - France

A young athlete who loves extreme sports and, above all, a big dreamer!

I trained in rock climbing and then mountaineering by joining the Espoir 06 group, which I hope helped me develop a strong mental attitude.

I completed the Ironman in Nice in 2024 and understood the meaning of preparation.
Ten months later and after 13.5 hours of effort, I achieved my goal.

But my inner quest was only just beginning...
That's why the following year I took on the crazy challenge of completing the Ironman in Nice and, five days later, the 120 km UTCAM race! I succeeded!

After a brief period of decline, I had to react. What could I do after such a string of events? I had heard about SUMMUM on social media via Tristan Goulwenn!
I dreamed about it, but thought I would never have the ability. However, the dream was too big not to try. The challenge was almost meant for me. I reconnected with mountaineering by taking up triathlon.

Dreaming is one thing, but what is the difference between dreams and reality?
It's a date.
Giving up will never be an option.

Sylvain Hyot

Sylvain Hyot - France

I have been a triathlete for eight years and have competed in all distances from XS to Double IRONMAN.

Several ultra trails: OCC, SaintéLyon, Lyon-SaintéLyon, Hivernal des Templiers, Mont Blanc Marathons.
And several long-distance road races, including the 100 km de Millau.

This year will be a little unusual in terms of sports, because I'm getting married in April and we're buying a house in February, so in triathlon it will be Half Maxi formats.

The schedule includes quite a few major events: a 24-hour run in June, the 100 km race in Millau in September, and the SaintéLyon in December.

And of course, I plan to familiarize myself with the Summum course off the record and train accordingly in order to give myself the best chance of succeeding in this project.

Sylvain Lemmelet

Sylvain Lemmelet - France

A native of Haute-Savoie and a triathlete for five years, I have already experienced the intensity of marathons and Ironman competitions.

I like the discipline imposed by training and the change in mindset that can occur during preparation.

But this adventure pushes me beyond my limits!

As a father of two children, I want to show them that anything is possible with passion and determination.
For me, the Summum is much more than a performance: it's a life adventure to experience unforgettable moments.

And what could be better than a view at 4,807 meters to savor the finish line?

Christopher Lacourt

Christopher Lacour - France

Passionate about endurance sports and especially challenges, I took up triathlon just a few years ago without knowing how to swim or even owning a bike.

Since then, I have traveled a path that led me to the Deca-Ironman (38 km of swimming, 1,800 km of cycling, 422 km of running), a race that I completed in 255 hours and which will remain an unforgettable human and sporting adventure.

Always striving to surpass myself and driven by the desire to do more, I am now embarking on this new challenge. Having never set foot in the mountains and being very poor at climbing hills, both on a bike and on foot, this challenge will be a new opportunity for me to push my physical and mental limits.
